5.0 out of 5 stars A nice addition to my kindle
I bought this based on the only other review at the time. I must agree that this is a quality cover for my Kindle. Although you cannot see the Intuitive Mounting system in the illustration, it consists of four elastic straps for the corners, the two outside straps having leather tabs for easy access once the inside corner straps have been placed around the device. 3.0 out of 5 stars Well made, but....
I wanted to love this case, and it seems swell made, but it is a bit too big for the Kindle 4G (the straps do fit, but there is extra space around the device itself). I didn't like the feel of the textured leather- it is totally lacking in any suppleness. And you can't fold the front cover back--it must be used in "open book" fashion. It arrived at the same time as the Amazon leather case for the Kindle/Kindle Touch; in the Amazon case the device elegantly fits into an exactly shaped "bed." I liked that design far more.

Unlike the previous cover I had which featured leather strips on the elastic corner straps, these elastic straps are barely noticable to me when holding the kindle for reading. Nice job.

I just received my Jivo case and I love it, it really complements the kindle well.
The leather seems to be high quality with that nice leather smell and overall product design is spot on. Thanks guys!

Finally found a case with real leather, and a great fit. Love it. The JIVO case give the latest generation Kindle a book-like feel without adding too much bulk.

2.0 out of 5 stars Unsatisfactory -- maybe acceptable at a $20 price point, December 1, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I found this cover to be too thin, making it feel uncomfortable in my hand while reading (there is no rolled over material at the edges) and also not giving much padding to protect my Kindle Touch. The Kindle did fit in it well and cosmetically it looked okay, but because of the lack of padding and uncomfortable feeling, I am returning it and will try another brand/model. Another thing I'll be looking for is something that will keep the cover closed, which this does not have.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Nice Cover, November 26, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: JIVO Kindle Case Cover Black Textured Leather Red Binding (Kindle and Kindle Touch) (Accessory)
This is my first Kindle cover as it's my first Kindle and I really didn't know much of what to expect. I think this cover is very nice looking. It said it was leather, but, to look at it, I can't really tell if it's real leather or not. Especially the red part just looks like plastic. One thing I wanted was a cover that folded back. This one does...sort of...but I'm not sure it's meant to do that. And then when you close it (after folding it back), it doesn't really stay closed all the way, for a little while anyway. I find the red tabs on the right side of the inside a little bit annoying, although once I start reading, I don't really notice them. I would remove them, but it looks like they're glued down. I think they're just for looks, to match the red binding.

Would I buy this again? I don't think so, but it's fine since I've already bought it. It's not worth the trouble to return it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice quality leather and attractive contrast stitching, November 18, 2011
This review is from: JIVO Kindle Case Cover Black Textured Leather Red Binding (Kindle and Kindle Touch) (Accessory)
I was very pleased with this product... nice leather, grey flannel interior, and well made. This product would've been over-the-top perfect if it had an easier time folding back with the elastic Kindle tab I was so fond of on the last generation covers. Over all though, I give it a thumbs up!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great look,feel, and fit for a a great price, October 24, 2011

This review is from: JIVO Kindle Case Cover Black Textured Leather Red Binding (Kindle and Kindle Touch) (Accessory)
Ordered (3) of the the Jivo cases, one for me and (2) for christmas presents. The leather and inside materials are of high quality and the "book spine" look is sharp and comfortable to hold. I went for real leather cases this time as my last case was plastic/rubber like and had a cheap feel and odd smell to it. For the price this is a great case!

The JIVO case is a winner. I love it. It does not add too much bulk, but gives the latest generation Kindle a book-like feel.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great looking cover, nice feel, perfect for the touch., January 1, 2012

Style-wise, it's a wonderful cover. The leather is firm and scratch resistant. It's a very handsome cover that doesn't add significant bulk to the Touch. But it does offer a reasonable measure of protection for toting the Touch. It could use an exterior strap to keep the cover stable and closed.

Folding it back takes some "working" so I think it's best used 'book like.' That said, it's small enough and thin enough that it's easy to hold.

I think it's pricey, but the quality is good. The Touch is held in place by four elastic straps. It does a great job of holding the Touch. The elastic looks like it's up to the task of holding up over time.

It's decorative, functional, with no bells and whistles. Great looking cover.
