The pages lack the name of the book you're studying. This makes it almost impossible to do in-depth topical study. Does anyone else have a problem with this?

Yes--this rinders the app useless. The only reference point I see is a location number which is absolutely useless when you have no reference as to what that num er. Means. Find no help tab. Purchased and downloaded on my new Xoom (Adroid system). Have been thoroughly frustrated!
