5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for a first timer December 23, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I don't know much about computers let alone tablets and found this book to be very helpful. I read another book first and was kind of leery about buying another guide book. I wanted something a little better than what I had read and this one was it. It was simple and logical for someone who is just learning about tablets. It was especially helpful because it was geared toward HDX. A good buy for the price for a newbie.

I've used my Kindle for about a month. This book was a great tutorial for me to get better acquainted with it. Tips & Tricks are great. List of free must have apps was excellent. If you're new to tablets, this is a must read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great info for first time Kindle Fire owner. January 5, 2014
By Jeannie
Format:Kindle Edition
I found this book to be very helpful. At this time, because I'm an Amazon prime member, I was able to borrow this book, but am still considering buying it as the info will always be handy to have on hand. As a first time owner of a Kindle Fire, there is so much more to this wonderful tablet than I knew & this book helped me tremendously.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Info but a Major Flaw February 6, 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This is a learning book. It had NO INDEX! That is a major problem on any reference book. I would not have bought it had I known no index ahead of time. A Shame because there is good info, but takes too much time finding it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kindle Fire HDX Tips, Tricks and Traps February 4, 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Very good guide for the first time HDX owner. Written in non-techie, easy to understand language. It's a little difficult to find specific topics one might be looking for. I would like to have had an INDEX at the back of the book. That would have been really great. For that reason alone I give it four stars. However, I recommend the book highly.
