4.0 out of 5 stars A book I recommend from all my heart April 10, 2013

This is a book I would recommend all Kindle owners to own. I won't say it's an encyclopedia on the subject, but the author has worked hard to provide the readers with so much of information, and as the book says 150+ tips and tricks to make the most out of the device you bought so lovingly. If you really want to learn how to use your Kindle device, this is a book that will teach you the same in the most straightforward manner ever.

Very basic. Had already figured out 95% of the need to know items by simply using the device and trying things out before reading the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Learn to Love to Read, All Over Again! April 8, 2013

Learn to Love to Read, All Over Again!

Many of us have a Kindle, be it the device or the Kindle on PC sdevices, I usually just crack it open, turn it on, forget about reading instruction manuals or warranties, get to the good stuff and start using it. It is a bad habit, yes, I know, but with so many technical things coming and going everyday throughout my life, I've just sort of learned how to muddle through things and worry about things later, if something goes wrong.

However, with this e-book, I decided to take a slightly different approach to my Kindle on my PC. I decided to take a calming breath and to actually read a little about it before I jumped in and just started pushing buttons and clicking the mouse.

Well, I'm glad I did just that for this e-book companion for the Kindle. There are so many small applications that I use very often while using the Kindle that I would not have even known existed, such as the mouse and how to use it to navigate, instead of the computer, or how useful it is to take notes with the highlighter application and be able to make noteworthy notes when I make notes.

I had noticed that before I read this Kindle companion, I would get frustrated with e-books. I am used to paper books, that's how I got through high school, college and most of medical school, paper, pencil, highlighters, notes, copying, all that good stuff. It still is hard for me to transition to a more computerized way of studying and reading. It still is hard at times, but when I settled myself down to give the Kindle a chance by utilizing some of its applications, I started to learn a new appreciation for this new technological way of taking in information.

I really like the instant use dictionary that Kindle has.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Beginners April 8, 2013
By leeonna
I recently got a Kindle Fire and found this guide to be extremely helpful. It shows the different features that you can find with the Kindle fire as well as different things you may have never known about. This guide is filled with secrets to help you learn how to use your Kindle Fire effectively and I found that it was a lot more helpful than a lot of other books that are out there for sale these days.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Kindle LifeSaver! April 5, 2013
A great buy for any new Kindle users like myself! I am not technologically savvy at all, and this book made navigating my Kindle so much easier and less frustrating. I got the Kindle for my birthday (something I would never buy myself), but thankfully I also got this instructional Ebook with it. It's been a real life saver and has saved me lots of time! I never knew the Kindle had so many functions, services, and benefits! I was against going Kindle, but now I'm a converted Kindle lover! I can't live without it! This book is a "MUST" for any new Kindle user who is afraid of technology!!
