Why aren't we being charged the "standard" $9.99 for a Kindle version of a new hardcover book?? Anyone have any ideas? Is Amazon checking us out to see if we'll go for higher prices on some "hot" items??

Usually they come down in price a week or two later. Sometimes with new releases they are even higher priced for the kindle than the hardcover. It stinks but usually they come down in price
