5.0 out of 5 stars Creating Kindle E-books March 23, 2011
Verified Purchase
This inexpensive book is very handy for giving you the necessary knowledge on formatting e-books for the Kindle. It lets you know all the tags and which ones are useful and which ones you can ignore.
If you are interested in creating Kindle e-books then this book is all you need to get started.
It does help if you have some experience with simple HTML but if you do not just read the book carefully.
Also it would be best to start off with a simple 1 or 2 page test book to get the feel of how things work.
I unhesitatingly recommend this inexpensive book. There is no point in spending more money.

5.0 out of 5 stars The new way to publish made easy . . . September 16, 2012
Verified Purchase
It took me a while - which is strange since I'm almost always an early adopter - but I finally moved to e-books. It took Kindle to do it, but I now read most of my material on my Kindle or Nexus. So it was natural that when it came time for me to consider publishing a short book, I would choose the Kindle platform. This book made it understandable, easy and enjoyable.

I was especially looking at how to create footnotes and citations and
learned that it's not a simple process, however Scot gave some real

I have been able to take Scots information together with using
the Ultimate Book Creator software tool (just Google it) - which is just amazing by the way - to create
my footnotes and citations in creative ways.
