The book is a collection of sermons given by the great Theophan to various groups of nuns he visited. Intensely practical, St. Theophan has a powerful gift for explaining principles of the spiritual life and mystical experience in simple down-to-earth language. In his sermons he uses many memorable metaphors. This is certainly soul benefiting reading.May you be blessed by this great Saint! |
