A Lip Gloss With a Cause!,
This review is from: Eternal Equity Gloss - 1 - Lip Gloss (Health and Beauty)
I first bought Peacekeeper Cause-Metics lip glosses and nail polishes more than a year ago. I noticed these products at a Rollin' Oats market and cafe in St. Petersburg, Florida. I think they sell these products at Whole Foods and Greenlife Markets as well. Anyways, I bought some of the Peacekeeper nail polishes for my co-workers and friends, and I bought a Peacekeeper lip gloss in Paint Me Eternal Equity for myself. Paint Me Eternal Equity is a sheer pink. It applies really smoothly on my lips and has a nice smell to it. Approximately 75% of the ingredients in this lip gloss are organic. The organic ingredients are: castor oil, beeswax, carnauba wax, and shea butter. According to the Peacekeeper Cause-metics website, proceeds from all their cosmetics go towards programs addressing human rights issues, women's health advocacy, and helping women who live in poverty or servitude. For the particular lip gloss I bought, paint me eternal equity, proceeds go to Micro-Credit Enterprises - a program that helps women who are currently living on less than a dollar a day to find sustainable trades and employment. According to Peacekeeper Cause-metics via their website, all their products are produced and made under fair wages, slavery-free labor, and their products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free, no animal testing. If you check out their website - type "iamapeacekeeper" for the web address URL - click on their Kiss Museum. In their Kiss Museum, you will see that public figures such as: former U.S. Ambassador Carol Moseley Braun, actresses Julia Ormond, Ana Gasteyer, Daryl Hannah, and singer/artist Bonnie Raitt tried Peacekeeper lip products (ranging from lip glosses, lip paints, and lip balms) and made lipstick prints to show their support for Peacekeeper Cause-Metics' causes. Anyways, this is a decent lip gloss. I don't feel guilty buying any product from Peacekeeper Cause-Metics, because their products are kind to animals, and buying products from this company helps women living under unfortunate situations, conditions, and circumstances. I give a thumbs up to Peacekeeper lip glosses and nail polishes!
