Great gift for teachers
This book will make a fabulous gift for daycare and kindergarten teachers. I checked it out at the library for my granddaughter, but I intend to buy copies for my collection as well as for gifts.

cute, but...
The illustrations for the "Lion and the Mouse" story within the story are far better than the cut paper work of the rest of the book-- the artist for those images, Kerri Wessel, is named only in tiny letters on the Library of Congress page. It's too bad that there isn't more of her painting in the story.
