About the Artist

Cedar Wind is a unique blending of Christine’s traditional cedar flute and Al’s classical silver flute. Christine and Al are both classically trained musicians and their original compositions are based upon their years of study. Christine’s heritage is Cree, and she is a student of Native Flute master R. Carlos Nakai. She is one of the few women who play the Native American flute professionally. She has been recognized by New York’s Rhythm Music Magazine as one of the leading women players of the Native American flute. Al’s heritage is French, and he is a master of classical flute, as well as contemporary musical styles. Cedar Wind conveys through their music their love and gratitude for the beauty of our Mother Earth and all her wonderful creatures.

Product Description

Songs of the Native American Flute blended with silver Alto and Bass flutes and other instruments from around the world. Featuring a mix of both mellow and lively tunes, Cedar Wind's long awaited second CD is sure to please you!
