Dr. Zatsiorsky is very complete and extremely accomplished in his explanation of the science of human movement. I am a graduate student in Exercise Science at the University of Hawai'i and this publication has easied my transition and will be valuable to any student or professional in the Exercise Sciences.

I am an MD clinician interested in movement science. I have read a number of books in biomechanics of motion. This text does indeed go beyond what the "simplier" biomechanics books do. The problem with Zatsiorsky's text it covers biomechanics in an extremely esoteric way. Unless you are a mechanical engineer or have a very strong background in theoretical mechanics,...

I am an MD clinician interested in movement science. I have read a number of books in biomechanics of motion. This text does indeed go beyond what the "simplier" biomechanics books do. The problem with Zatsiorsky's text it covers biomechanics in an extremely esoteric way. Unless you are a mechanical engineer or have a very strong background in theoretical mechanics, then this book will be difficult to digest.
