Many here have complained about the size of the containers, well... the pictures are posted above.
As to the quality, they are very nice. Heavy glass and thick Snap-On lids.
I originally bought the 16oz , but returned them as too small. They would hold about 13oz of liquid.
I re-ordered the 30 oz. and they will do fine for my lunch or travel. although they are a little short on size as advertised as well.
The 30 oz. will hold about 27 oz. of liquid. About a 2 sandwich size container.
The quality of the product is very nice. The lids are heavy and snap on securely with no leaks. The glass is heavy and thick.
The product description states the 30 oz. is 9X 7X 7 inches. No they are not, unless you stack all 3 on top of each other.
Although I do like them, they need to correct the description.

Love them. If you're going to travel with food these are a necessity. Never worry about spillage in your bag again.

A note on choosing sizes:
I bought a bunch of the SAME kind. My friend has a million different sizes (the variety pack) and his cupboard is a mess. He has to hunt for the right lid to go with the right container. My theory is that I'm really just going to use one size. I went with 30oz, which I can pack a decent / slightly light lunch into. (I'm a 160 lb active male and eat a lot.) So having JUST ONE SIZE allows all the lids to be interchangeable, and all the items to stack neatly.
Simplicity is a big plus in my book.
If you must have two sizes, maybe there are two sizes that take the same size lid, at least then it'll all stack and the lids will be interchangeable.

I bought 6, I cook a bunch of food use them as packaged food containers (except there's good food inside). Take it to the office, take it on a picnic, eat it at home, whatever it's ready to go.

Re: Mold. One user dropped her rating from 5 to 2 starts b/c there was mold which is couldn't clean between the gasket and plastic lid.
It's easy. Take a kitchen knife. Gently insert it between the gasket and plastic rim. Gently pry out the gasket. Mold will wash off easily now. Gasket will slide snuggly and easily back in. You're good to go for another XX months. Mine have no mold yet, but I did this on my friends lids upon seeing the had mold (probably 1+ year old).

PS I don't put my lids in the dishwasher, they warp a little if you do.

The quality of these containers is very good; the glass nice and heavy and the lids fit very well. What wasn't apparent to me from the picture was that the lids have large tabs that snap down on all four sides, a very nice feature. These aren't the hugest of containers (I have their larger set, which is also great.) but they are perfect for small amounts of leftovers, and what my husband likes best, for making and keeping tuna salad (regular size cans). I've taken to not putting plastic lids from any of my glass storage bowls in the dishwasher since my Pyrex lids started to disintegrate from that environment; that did take awhile, but replacement lids are hard to come by so I'm not taking a chance with these. Another feature I like about these is that they are square and take up less space in the fridge. They don't stack into each other in the cupboard well, but given everything that I like about them, that is easily overlooked. Highly recommended!

Perfect size for my lunchbox, which is what I bought them for. I love my other glass dishes, but the lids sometimes leak if the lunchbox is not kept level. I chose these based on other reviews, price, and size.

Love this product although I wish they made one slightly smaller. I like to bring salads to work and a small one for a small amount of dressing would be perfect. I have many sizes of this brand and I love them all. I also purchased the Rococco brand and while they are nice looking, they are not leakproof like these. I would definitely purchase again and more if necessary.

Update August 6, 2010
I have to amend this review. I used to give the product 4 stars but have dropped it down to 2. Even though I still love the product and it does what it says it should, two of the lids started getting mold inside the rubber gasket. I have no idea how it got in there since it is between the rubber and the plastic piece. The two are supposed to be glued or somehow otherwise melded together. I have only hand washed these so there has not been any high pressure water against the lid. Anyway, the real reason for the lowered star rating is because I have repeatedly tried to contact the manufacturer for a replacement. The lid became moldy a month after I purchased it. No response. I even said I would BUY another lid just so I don't have a useless glass container sitting around with no lid. Still no response. I have emailed and called for a total of 4 times now. How hard is it to have replacement lids for sale on your website?

I love these containers, and I really like how the lid works and we find them to be leakproof, making them great for taking leftovers for lunch. We go the 17 oz. square containers, but I find the size measurement to be off. Only if you fill it so full that you couldn't put on the lid could you get 17 oz of liquid in here. I would describe the 17 oz containers to actually hold 14 ounces. I don't have this brand in the other sizes, so I'm not sure if they are similarly mis-sized but I would assume so. I have searched everywhere in vain for a leak proof, square, glass food storage container that will hold 2 cups (they do have a 24 oz. size but it is round, which I just don't feel is as space efficient in the cabinet and refrigerator as I would like) - so my search continues!

When I received the product, one of the three container lids had one broken tab. It was laying inside the bag completely disconnected from the rest of the lid. I returned it through Amazon's automated return system and they sent me a new set within days of my complaint. The return was effortless and easy (came with a free return label from UPS). Kudos to Amazon! As for the product, I love the design and it works well. However, I am always weary that soon, another tab will break off and render that container terms of keeping a tight seal. I use these containers to bring lunch to work. When I bring it to work, I put it in the fridge. Come lunch time, I take it out of the fridge and straight into the microwave. After lunch, I give it a quick rinse and throw it into my book bag. So, they take quite a beating. The glass seems solid and the silicone trim seems to work well, but the weak link seems to be the tabs as they are connected to the lid via a thin strip of plastic...the thinnest part of the lid. If any one of the four tabs were to break, you would lose your seal and any liquid inside would leak out.

I recently purchased 1.6 Quart (51 ounce) Glasslock container at a local store (The Container Store) and realized
they are different shape from what I already own. I bought mine years ago and didn't realize there are similar products
(Glasslock, Kinetic Glasslock, Snapware?).
I personally prefer this Kinetic Glasslock to the regular Glasslock products, because these are not as angled
(Glasslock products have narrow bottom than the top opening) and have straight sides (Glasslock products have a wide band of rim on top).
I returned the regular Glasslock products and ordered these online and they are a perfect match to what I already have.
You just have to look at the photos up close and figure out which is which. You get 3 containers as shown in the photo.
Dimensions for 64 ounce Rectangular is 8.25 x 6 x 3.75 with the lid on.

I use these containers for pickles and liquid food because they don't stain/smell as much as plastic containers.
They look very clean and organized when stacked up in the refrigerator.
I have not used them in the oven, and always hand wash them so no mold issues or cracked lids (so far).
I hope to purchase more of these in other sizes and replace majority of my plastic containers.
Just wish they had a bigger size than 64 ounce, and also sell these in sets of 2 or 4 instead of 3.

I bought a set of Glasslock food containers from Amazon and was happy that "OVEN SAFE" was imprinted on the bottoms. When I received the 3 large (64oz.) Glasslock containers in a later order I found no such imprint. In fact it says "NOT FOR USE IN OVEN". When I purchase a product that uses the same name of a previously purchased item I assume that it is the same in every way. That especially applies when the item could cause physical damage to the purchaser or family. One additional problem is that the warning is barely legible since it does not stand out on the bottom unless the lighting is perfect. Not everybody using a bowl will know that it could be dangerous.

I buy thousands of dollars of products from Amazon and have been pleased with the response to past problems. This is a safety issue and is beyond the scope of the previous problems.

I expect to hear from you as to this possibly dangerous situation.

For the sake of future purchasers please warn them that these are not oven safe.

I purchased these at a local store after using some at my Mother-in-Law's at Christmas time. I really wanted food storage containers that were easy to use-less concern about losing the lids and would fit well in the fridge.
Yesterday I had one of these containers sitting on the counter for several hours because I was going to dispose of the food in the container. I emptied the food in the garbage and began rinsing the container with WARM water. Suddenly the container exploded in my hands, with no warning, and shattered glass flew everywhere. Even on the floor behind me. I had pieces of small glass in my hands and still today am finding pieces of small glass on the floor. This experience was horrifying and I still do not know what possibly could have created such an explosion since there was no extreme variation in temperature. THESE ARE DANGEROUS and likely will be recalled before long.
