After shopping around, I took a chance on this one based on the positive reviews and I am very pleased. The build quality is very good for something this cheap. There are cheaper ottomans on Amazon, but look at the weights. The cheaper ottomans are "collapsible" (why would you want that?) while this thing ships at 23+ pounds and is solid like a real piece of furniture. Do yourself a favor and drop the extra $10-$15 for this one. You will like it.

After a few months of medium to heavy use, 2 buttons have come off. Structurally it's still solid but the buttons can't handle the heavy foot traffic. I ended up cutting the other 2 buttons off and it still looks great. The buttons don't actually serve a purpose... the top just puffs up a tiny bit more now. If you saw it for the first time, you'd think it was design that way.

After 6 months, the thing is still solid, but because I took the buttons off, the stitching at the intersections that the buttons were holding down is starting to come undone. Granted I use this thing everyday with size 14 banana boats. I'm still happy with the purchase but be aware of this problem if you think about removing the buttons like I did. Will report back in a few months.

Great product and I am very happy with it. Not real shiney and does not look cheap. I honestly believe you will be happy with this product.

This item was received early, which is always nice. Easy to put together. A cross between a deep burgundy and a brown, so will go with either. The tufting gives it a rich look and the storage with a hinge is a nice touch. This screams quality at a very reduced price. Looks great next to my real leather chair and even looks like the ottoman I wanted to purchase when I bought that chair but was way too expensive. The price is unbelievable for the quality you get. You will not be dissaponted with this item!!

I really like this little ottoman. It doesn't take up a lot of space but it holds a lot. Comfortable top, seems well made. Holding up well to occasional cat attacks. The price was great and you can't beat the free shipping with Amazon.

This ottoman far exceeded my expectations. It looks great and is comfortable. One feature that I love but didn't expect is that the lid stays up when you open it. This is great because I have a toddler who opens it, and it stays exactly where she lifts the lid and won't slam her fingers. The movement of the lid is also really smooth and easy, which is nice for a toddler. In short, looks great, functions perfectly, and great value. I'm so glad I bought it!

It was super cheap compared to buying one in a furniture store. Nice color that matches probably most decor. The storage bin is GREAT. I've said at least a dozen times since using these: "I can't believe we waited so long to buy these!"

I will say that on the laminate wood floor, these can tend to slowly move away from your body if you put any pressure on them. I think I'll need to buy some little rubber feet to stick on the bottom so they stop sliding. That's the only con I can think of...totally worth the price and would recommend.

For the price and size of this ottoman, I was very pleased with my purchase. Even shipping was quick (it arrived the quickest out of a variety of items I bought that day). I was amused I had to screw the legs on (when it arrived) but the rest was already together. Perfect for storage and comfort!!

Excellent Value, just took delivery this week. Very solid, slightly more brown than burgundy but matches my leather couch close enough. Wish it had rollers instead of fixed legs. It is heavier than I expected, guess that's why the quality is descent. You could probably sell this for a profit at garage sale for $75-$100.

We were looking for an ottoman to add an extra seat to our family room, and this one was definitely the right choice! We could not believe the great price, and it looks like it costs more. We did some checking around, and this was definitely the biggest bang for the buck. Exactly what we were looking for, and the quality is wonderful!

I bought two. They arrived fast. They have been used for more than 3 months. The leather, lining and stitching are tough and strong. I like the roomy storage space inside. Can't find any negative about it.
