5.0 out of 5 stars Superb BTO concert recording....
This concert was recorded when BTO had its 70's classic line-up in place - Blair Thornton, Robin Bachman, Randy Bachman, and Fred Turner. They rock the damn house on this CD, and give everyone an example, as if one is needed, as to why they are simply the best damn hard rockin' band ever - BTO Rocks!

2.0 out of 5 stars Too Bad They Released This CD
As a long-time fan of BTO, I wanted this CD to give me a dimension that the studio sound couldn't give. Unfortunately, it did. Although the performance was exciting, as one would expect, the quality of production did not do justice to BTO - or to me. If the scores could be qualified, I'd say 5 stars for BTO, zero for the folks who remastered.

5.0 out of 5 stars loud, fresh, too bad it wasn"t released in the seventies, November 3, 1999

back in the seventies, this would have been an fm radio staple. available int the seventies as a bootleg lp "powerhausen". hear "roll on down the highway" when it was brand new, with slightly different lyrics. "takin care of business"is first rate, complete with scream of ecstacy from female in the audience at the first cord! BTO lp enthusiasts will love "WELCOME HOME", AND "GIVE IT TIME". listen to it thru headphones cranked to the max. greal cd for breaking a lease too!

3.0 out of 5 stars Bachman-Turner Overdrive - 'King Biscuit Flower Hour' (King Flower), October 10, 2010
This review is from: King Biscuit Flower Hour Presents in Concert (Audio CD)
Show took place on March 8, 1974 in Chicago. I vaguely remember this tour, when they had Styx as opener. This live archive King Biscuit recording is okay and all - I mean I liked hearing their staples like "Let It Ride", "Roll On Down The Highway", their smash hit "Takin' Care Of Business" and the timeless "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" - but this live concert is WAY too flipping short! I mean - come on! Just seven songs? I saw them awhile back open for Van Halen's '5150' tour and I'm sure they played at least this long, just as a support band. The thirty-minute interview with Randy Bachman is okay. Pretty much aimed toward the die-hard fans. Sound quality is good.

I was 14 when I saw my 2nd concert. It was far out to get tickets for this show. I had a hard time sleeping waiting till the day I saw BTO. What a waste of good night sleep. This show was a BIG disappointment. The opening band STYX was so much more entertaining and cool. Don't waste your money of this rip off. I warned you.
