Editorial Reviews

Cowboy Troy rapped his way into the country mainstream on the first cut of Big & Rich's 2004 debut Horse Of A Different Color. And while his admonition to "let go of all your preconceived notions" certainly wasn't the first time elements of rap had been incorporated into country, it was the boldest statement yet. Explaining the journey that placed Troy Coleman at this unlikely intersection is as complicated as explaining the evolution of American culture. At the same time it's as simple as the story of a kid from Texas who did what all kids do--he soaked up the world around him.

3. Giddy Up (feat. Sinister)

5. Daisy Dukes And Cowboy Boots (feat. Big & Rich)
6. Mack Truck (Hick-Hop Version) [feat. Moonshine Bandits, D. Thrash of Jawga Boyz, and John Rich]
7. Buzzed Up (feat. Goodnight Fellows)

This album is great country/club party music!!

It took awhile for this to be released, but was well worth the wait. It is a high energy 'club' mix of CBT with a number of other artists including Big Smo. DJ Simister keeps the beats going throughout the album. I wish there were more tracks.

I had the opportunity to see CBT live just before this album released and the performance rocked. This album captures that party experience and allows me to relive it whenever I want.

This is not one of the best I feel but buying from Amazon and knowing they back their products and the price was low enough so even if I get a song or two I like, the prices are great :)

....& it's not even the 1st of April!!!

I'll make this quick & as diplomatic as possible - so as not to upset the younger un's (again).

Some people seem to think that all you need to do is to put on a particular type of clothing/costume and you'll then be able to chose the genre of music that you can/want to fit into.

This does not fit into the Country genre - it is, plain & simply, hip-hop/rap performed by a fella in a cowboy hat & a shiny belt-buckle, accompanied by some buddies of the same like.

If you like hip-hop/rap, give it a listen.

If you're looking for Country music, I recommend that you avoid this one.
