This DVD has two excellent Crimson concerts. The music is as interesting and brilliantly executed as you would expect. Two problems with the DVD production: One, it's often so dark, when there aren't bright lights on the band, that it begins to strain at least my old eyes. Two: the second concert (DVD 2) was filmed and produced by an outfit called BootlegTV, and that's just what it looks like. They also tried to mirror Crimson's improv by having the DVD do some sort of random jumps or something. The only effect of this is that in between songs there's a long pause that breaks the mood of the concert. Very lame. Luckily the first concert alone is worth the price.

Having been a King Crimson fan for over 40 years, through the many incarnations, one of my favorite possessions has been a well worn VHS tape of Three of a Perfect Pair-Live from 1984. Eyes Wide Open is a fantastic pair of performances that are every bit as riveting as my old favorite. Well worth the investment.

Great music and great picture and sound, but not for every one. Crimson are in a league of their own and always have been.

A great couple of shows by King Crimson. Robert Fripp and Adrian Belew are very talented guitarists. Video quality is acceptable, with good camera angles and close-ups. Sound is very good. Good buy for any Crimson fan.

Not really great production, fripp is kind of in the shadows, just okay overall, sort of low budget production and I was expecting more, one plus is that the music is good and Im a big fan, it's the only one I own by them so far, will look into a better one sometime, this really isn't worth the price, if you have to have it look for a used copy.
