The King of Fighters 99 is not the best fighting game in the world, and it is flawed, but it is kind of fun. It is also priced right (its value priced so it should only run you under $10.00). If you are used to 3D fighters like Dead or Alive 3 or Soul Calibur II you might think this is a little slow paced. Button mashers will not get alot out of this game. This quality isn't very great and the sound isnt either, but its a fun little game that wont run you much money. Check it out if you are a fan of the King of Fighters or are a just a fan of 2D fighting games in general.

This is one of PSONES best fighting games.I think its way better than Street Fighter.The graphics arent perfect,but they look good but the controls work great and the music is fitting for this type of game.This is a must buy.

This game is real fun. I like fighting games and this is one of my favorites. It has 32 characters unlike some games that only have around 5. The characters have awsome moves if you know how to do them. I also like the fighting areas and their backgrounds. I also loved the art gallery. It has over100 very cool pictures. Another thing I like is the striker that helps you. This game does have some disadvantages but it's kind of old, so you cant blame it much. The characters are 2-D but I don't really mind but 3-D would be better. Also it doesn't have as many moves as some games do like Tekken 3. A bad thing about strikers is that they just come in and do one move. I thought they would help you through the whole match. Some don't even do anything, they just taunt your opponent(once when Choi was my striker, he even shook his butt at my opponent)but their still helpful. That's probably all the flaws in this game. There are alot of characters I like like Choi, Chang, Chin, Mary, Whip, and Mai. That's all I can say. To make it shorter, BUY THIS GAME! It's not the best game but it's fun! Look for more Agetec games!

King of fighter rocks!!! 10000 time better than Street Fighter series. The best 2D fighting game in PS!!! This game's graphic and control are well done. KOF 99 is just totally kicks ass!!!

Wow, I really LOVED this game! It's a little old, and I believe the last KOF game to be released in America (SOB). The graphics are 2D, but the fighting is awesome, and it's hard not to fall in love with the characters, like Kyo. ^-^ Who also happens to be a total bisho... The only game I've ever played that beat out Final Fantasy 7, on my list. ^_^ Highly reccomended for all you fighting game freaks (Like me)!

The King of Fighters '99 is very challenging and awesome at the same time! A great fighting game to buy and keep permanently. The feel of the arcade movements and combos have stayed onto this playstation release, great going Sony!!

I love the options to choose a team of your choosing with a "striker";, someone to slam it to the enemy in case your being mis-treated. The King Of Fighters 99 remind me alot of The King of Fighters 2000. Almost impossible to beat the computer, but fun to play over and over again. If your a strong fanatic for street fighter and Fatal Fury and Samurai Shodown games, then this is the game for you!

The graphics are fairly decent for its time back in 1999, which looks way better then the very first Tekken or Dead or Alive game. Terry, Andy, and Joe never looked so kool in this 99 release.

A great collectible and playability is endless!
