I like this bible mostly becase the pictures in it seem to be biblicall accurate and the pictures are not "catroon"ie". They look realistic. For example, the picture of the wise men are shown visiting Jesus when he is older and at a house, not as an infant in the stable as most pictures portray! There are others bibles, like the Adventure Bible, that I would recommend for beginning readers for at home, but this is a good one for them to take to VBS, Sunday school, events that may require them to bring their bible. The print is small but it does have the words in Christ in red.
