This documentary should never have seen the light of day. I purchased a copy in advance of the release date, since I cannot get enough music or history about this pivotal figure of jazz and magnificent human being. But I learned absolutely nothing, and a newcomer will be put off by the subpar production values, including unprofessional editing and empty, boring, misleading, and erroneous historiography. This item should be removed from any responsible dealer's inventory...without delay!
