This is the movie SOUNDTRACK, folks!!,

Umm, it seems like that last reviewer is a little confused -- he is supposed to be reviewing the CD SOUNDTRACK here, not the actual movie. So it isn't really fair that he gave the soundtrack one star but didn't even mention the music or the soundtrack. So, what can i say about it? It is composed by the great japanese film composer Akira Ifukube, who composed the legendary scores for the original Godzilla films. Despite the goofy production values of the films, his scores usually soared above the film like Mothra high above the carnage -- and this score is no exception. 39 tracks, but I can't tell you what they are called 'cause they are all in Japanese on my disc.

Bad movie, but a good soundtrack,

The movie itself was pretty lame (What do you expect from Japanese monster movies. perfection?). This is also the only place on amazon.com where I can complain about the movie. But it is unfair to criticize the movie while I should be reviewing the soundtrack. As usual in Godzilla or other Japanese sci-fi movies, the soundtrack is one of the highlights. Worth buying.
