5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book! January 30, 2012

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have to say that the main reason that I bought this book was because I know the author. That said, I feel that I would have really missed out if I wouldn't have bought it. The characters are completely relatable even though their world is so different than ours. Sometimes the characters do everything right and sometimes they make huge mistakes, just like us. I don't feel like I do with some books that the "good guys" are always perfect angels and the "bad guys" are always completely evil. There are some gray areas and room for the characters to change, which I like. The plot line is well developed and the setting keeps your imagination on overload. Overall, I think that this book was a great read and I would recomend it to anyone.

This enjoyable book is written for a young teen audience but was a great pleasure also for this 70 year old. The writing is lovely, and the story is fast-paced and engaging.
