Awesome Single,
This review is from: King Nothing / Ain't My Bitch (Audio CD)
This is a great single to collect. I don't know about you guy, but I like having a physical copy of something rather then downloading it. To the guy saying buy this over the album, I guess he hasn't listened to Bleeding Me or The Outlaw Torn. You can't go wrong with this. I see some for only a dollar or so.

Good, but not the best,

"King Nothing" is a great song, probably the best on the album. The only problem was when James Hetfield says "Off to Never Never Land" at the end of the song. I don't need to be reminded that "Enter Sandman" is there, I've heard it enough. The B-side, "Ain't my Bitch" is a great recording: faster than the EP live. It doesn't match up to other Metallica live releases, though, such as **Live Shit: Binge and Purge**. Now that's good!

Side 1 is for Enter Sandman fans. Side 2 is Metallica LIVE!,

King Nothing is a song much like Enter Sandman only rougher sounding. It has that big back-beat and grooving vocal rhyme scheme. The guitar solo intertwines with the main riff perfectly and creates terrific tension. The only thing that kills it for me is the ending when Hetfield whispers "Off to never never land." It is a grim reminder that we should have all gotten over this years ago when Enter Sandman slipped from the charts. It IS cool, though. Side 2 is probably worth more to some fans than Side 1. It's a live version of Ain't My Bitch. I've heard a lot of live Metallica. They can be either great or horrible depending on their day. This is GREAT live Metallica. Sure, the vocals go a little stray here and there but it's done in such a fun way that you just don't care. Much faster than the original version--the way Metallica fans like it!
