5.0 out of 5 stars Old Three 6 sh*t at it's best!, January 20, 2001
This review is from: King of Da Playaz Ball (Audio CD)
This is an excellent album from the old days of Three 6 Mafia and Prophet Entertainment! NOBODY can touch Kingpin Skinny Pimp with his rapid-fire flow! All the songs are great but the ones I like the most are Nobody Crosses Me, Midnight Hoes, Lookin' For Da Chewin'(would have been better if it was more than one verse), I Don't Lov'em, We Ain't No Playa Hatas(this one samples Eazy-E's classic song "Boyz N Tha Hood" and features K-Rock from the Killa Klan Kaze who just tongue-twists his a** off on this song), Let's Start A Riot, and All About Them Prophets. If you're into the older Three 6 sh*t, then pick this almost flawless album up today!

What can I say negative about this album? nothing at all dj paul and juicy J were the producers of this cd and you can tell cuz the cd is poppin. Skinny pimp with his gangsta lyrics expressing his every day life from pimping to pulling of heists and putting niggas six feet under. This cd included almost every body from three six mafia but one of my favorites were I don't love em feat gangsta boo. Just another nigga representing the m-town!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Memphis Classic!, April 6, 2010
This review is from: King of Da Playaz Ball (Audio CD)
U can't say anything bad about this album, it with out any argument is a classic! It's Skinny's best album, the album that made him famous and is his highest selling to date. Just think if him and 3-6 never would of had beef it would have been perfect for both of them. D.J. Paul producing and Skinny as cold of a mc as he is. I can only imagine. I really don't have to explain this album just listen to and it sells it's self. I will say this the best tracks to me are One Life To Live, Midnight Hoe's,I can smoke to this 1 for day's never gets old. Also Long Story, and Pimpin And Hoin are some good 1's And King Of Da Playaz Ball o man, he just destroys this track every line with perfect timein.

This was a great transaction. Absolutely no problems. I even received it sooner than the expected arrival date. Was brand new in sealed package. Every song plays perfect. Seems like some older CD's are becoming harder and harder to find. I jumped on this after a little research. Best deal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Three 6 Mafia at it's best, September 11, 2007
By
This review is from: King of Da Playaz Ball (Audio CD)
Albums like this is what made Three 6 Mafia... I believe since Sippin on Syrup, Three 6 Mafia has been steadly headed to the Pop Hip Hop Arena.. This album along side, Mystic Styles, Chapter One: The End, World Domination, T-Rock Rock Solid 4:20, Gangsta Boo Enquiring Minds/Best of Both Worlds, The Devil's Playground ext... are Three 6 Mafia.. The rest is a bunch of Pop under the tightest beats in the rap game... Back in the day, Three 6 used to have beats and Lyrics that blew your mind.. Now they got songs like, "Good Googley Moogely," complete garbage! It's about substance, something Three 6 is steadly loosing as the days go by...

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Debut, March 30, 2006
This review is from: King of Da Playaz Ball (Audio CD)
This album came correct, skinny had never sounded this great this and will probably not again. If you like 3-6 or skinny pimp u should buy this. The rest of his albums dont match to this, the beats are bumpin too mainly cause it was produced by Paul & Juice. Check out songs like "Ya'll ain't no killaz" "I don't love em" and "All about them prophets".

5.0 out of 5 stars King Of Da Playaz Ball - Kingpin Skinny Pimp, April 28, 2003
This review is from: King of Da Playaz Ball (Audio CD)
The best solo release from Prophet Entertainment. Some of the best beats post Mystic Stylez by Paul & Juice. As the two have grown as producers, unfortunately Skinny has dwindled as a rapper resorting to recycled lyrics.

Back in the Prophet Entertainment days, Skinny was one of their best artists. Now they are beefin' but this came out back when Three 6 and Skinny was cool. It is a Memphis classic and a cd that every Three 6 Mafia and Skinny Pimp fan should have. It's one of the best rap albums ever made end of story. GET IT NOW!!!!!!
