King of Pop: Australian 50th Anniversary

For each country the album was released in, fans from that nation chose the songs that were included on their version; from a pool list of Jackson's back catalog. Starting on June 21, 2008, Australian fans had three weeks to vote for their 30 favourite tracks for the album; made up of Jackson's prior material. Each fan could choose five songs from the pool. The track list is:

TO BEGIN WITH I WASN'T SURE WHICH ONE OF THE 50TH. ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION CD'S I WOULD GIVE IN TO.. AND I SURE DON'T REGRET, WITH SUCH A REMARKABLE HITLIST & A FEW SONGS I EARLIER HADN'T TAKEN NOTICE OF, (TILL RECENT DELIVERY TIME), LIKE "IN THE BACK". WHAT A SURPRISE IT WAS TO ME! EVEN THE SETUP OF SONGS ARE WELL BALANCED. THE JACKSONS' "STATE OF SHOCK" IS ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS TO DESCRIBE THE VARIATION AND ORIGINALITY OF THE JACKSON ESTATE.


THE GREAT CLASSICS "BILLIE JEAN", "BEAT IT", "THRILLER", "MAN IN THE MIRROR", "SCREAM", "SMOOTH CRIMINAL" & "WE ARE THE WORLD" (A RARE DEMO VERSION ONLY WITH MICHAEL'S VOICE) ARE ALL THERE. HONESTLY, I WAS BOTH THRILLED AND
SATISFIED TO KNOW THAT "STRANGER IN MOSCOW", "WHO IS IT" & "WILL YOU BE THERE" HAD BEEN COUNTED INTO THIS PARTY POUNDING DOUBLE DISC, MICHAEL JACKSON CELEBRATOR!


THANK YOU MICHAEL FOR BEING WITH US, EVEN FOR SUCH A LIMITED TIME, MAKING MUSIC, DEALING WITH THE RACIAL ASPECT, ENCOURAGING ALL OF US TO MAKE IT A BETTER PLACE. WITHOUT HIM IT WOULD HAD BEEN ONE LESS ROLEMODEL PLACED ON EARTH, TO BE A SPARKLE OF HOPE, WITH THE INTENSION TO FULFILL GOD'S WILL. SO IF YOU DESIRE ONE NEW MJ ALBUM, THEN I'LL SAY: "THIS IS IT". ENJOY THE MUSIC ; )

I am a huge MJ fan and I love collecting his CDS , books , DVDs , etc . All these King Of Pop Editions are great && I hope to get in the future (:


BUT DON `T GET IT CONFUSED WITH THE AUSTRIAN CD ; D

"Fall Again" written by Walter Alfanasieff & Robin Thicke was well worth buying the entire Double Disc. But as an added bonus were the amazing rare tracks "Say Say Say" with Paul McCartney and "Someone Put Your Hand Out" from the Dangerous sessions. All MICHAEL JACKSON's songs are excellent in this collection which includes "Scream", the "Thriller Megamix" and "Give Into Me."
