5.0 out of 5 stars Big Ideas, January 22, 2012
The story of setting out with no planning or knowledge. If just read with no discussion a young child could interpret as the world is a dangerous place. Don't try things, stay at home. It could also being thought of as something only partially true. Each thing has it's place. The book is an opportunity to ask questions to let the young reader possibly come up with how things might be better accomplished. When the duck said it could be a cook, did it mean perhaps it wanted to be one?
