I've been hearing more and more about using shaving oils, but I was skeptical, thinking it was just another hype being force-fed to the buying public. But, on a whim I decided to get a bottle, folllowed the directions.....and I don't think I'll ever use another shave gel or cream ever again! My face has never felt smoother, it is very easy to trim around beards/moustaches, no lather to clean up after, and my face feels smooth all day long. I have a course beard, it's odd not feeling any "5 o'clock shadow" at the end of the day. I'll not be using anything else to shave with ever again.

I shave my head (and face) about three times a week, and therefore I have an incentive to try just about every razor, lubricant, and aftershave product on the market in an attempt to find the best combination. I have tried seemingly every shaving cream, gel, and oil available, and I have settled on the King of Shaves alpha oil. It is an excellent product - no lather mess to clean up, protects well against razor burn, and the little bottle lasts a long, long time. I have found that I get a closer, more comfortable shave from this product than any other I have used.

This is a great product if you are somewhere that you:

1. Cannot pack aerosol cans

2. do not have access to large amounts of water

3. somewhere that is incredibly dry

4. have limited packing room.

I used this overseas and it worked great, you only need about a table spoon of water (or if you are sweaty enough you can bypass that) and you have yourself a really close shave, one downside is that it does clog up your razor pretty quick. But overall a great product and one that I still use today (even with a western bathroom). Also, it is a small bottle, but it literally only takes 2 drops to shave (when used with a wet face).
