I bought this for my Simmons Beauty Rest king size mattress.
This is the perfect platform frame. It was easy to set up, just unfold and put in a couple of screws, slide it into place and put your mattress on it. It has plenty of room for storage under the bed. It does not squeek. No need to buy extra slats. I will be getting more of these, I am done with regular bed frames.

This bed frame had great reviews and as we were purchasing our first memory foam mattress, were really looking for a nice bed frame to fit our new king sized bed. At first, we were pleased. It was lightweight, extremely easy to assemble, and fit our new mattress perfectly. It provides great support and is nice and high from the floor, so it brings the mattress up and does provide room for storage underneath.
As the months rolled on, however, we've become less and less satisfied. Within a month or so, it began to really squeak when we moved at all at night. Also, one of the reasons we got a memory foam mattress was because my husband woke me up on a spring mattress everytime he rolled around. The memory foam mattress transfers almost no movement, but now the bed frame moves whenever he rolls and that wakes me up just as much.
I looked into returning it, but they only offer a 30 day return policy. Plus, it would've been expensive with the size. We paid quite a bit for it, and it's really just 2 fairly inexpensive looking metal cot frames. If I had seen them in the stores, I would've probably only paid a 1/3 of what I did pay for them. I've noticed currently that the price is now triple what I paid, and I definitely would not pay that much.
If you're just looking for a good support for a memory foam mattress and you sleep alone, this may be just fine for you. I think you would be able to find something just as sufficient, however, for a lower price if you looked elsewhere.

I just received this frame as a replacement for a basic steel frame that failed. This frame was incredibly easy to set up (it took me 15 minutes or less). Basically unfold the frames, place them side-by-side, and bolt them together with the included thumbscrews. Easy. The frame seems very solid - doesn't make a sound or wiggle at all. I have the box spring and the mattress on the frame, so the mattress top is very high off the ground, but I am an unusually tall person, and I like it that way. There is a considerable amount of underbed storage - the frame is 14" off the floor. You just have to creatively space your stuff to avoid the many legs. Many legs is not a bad thing - it offers superior stability and firmness. I've only had the frame for a short time, so I cant vouch for the longevity, but it feels very sturdy. I will add an update after 6 months or so. Overall I'm very happy.

I've been sleeping on this frame nearly every night for seven months now. It's still as comfortable as it was on day one and no sign of a squeak. Very good product.
on a side note - I did NOT pay $700.00 for this frame. It was more like $170.00. I'm not sure why it's so expensive now.
***update 12/16/2011***
Still sturdy, comfortable, and quiet. no complaints.
***UPDATE 4/7/2012***
Still love it - no sign of a squeak or a wobble. Very comfortable. Still very happy with the purchase.

Yup! Still happy!

The only concern we had when we bought it was that it would make our bed too low, but that isn't the case at all. It actually gives you a lot more room under the bed than a standard bedframe and boxspring setup.

*Update 2 years later*

The frames are quiet and do not creak at first, but just give it some time! My wife and I are 135 and 170 lbs respectively. The frame started squeaking about 6 months after purchasing, and gradually got worse and worse - the squeaking if much louder than what a normal boxspring would be. Last week, as I flopped down on the bed , the center legs snapped off the rest of the frame on one of the two (we have a king setup - two twins) so it now bows badly in the middle of the bed. The "heavy-duty" wire mesh that "will not bend or sag over time" has also bent and sagged. So now we have a squeaking, sagging, broken box spring. Will see if they honor any sort of warranty - as I have noted on some websites that there is a 10 year limited warranty.

From their website:
The Pragma Bed(tm) bed base is engineered with heavy-duty wire mesh, which serves as a complete mattress support system that will not bend or sag over time. Our bed bases provide a flat, sturdy, squeak-free base for your new memory foam mattress or even your old spring mattress.

It is too bad, because they really are nice to move and store, and they start out wonderfully, but they don't live up to their claims not to sag/bend/or squeak.

We purchased this frame for our memory foam matterss. No box spring or anything, the memory foam sits right on this frame. Works great. My wife set it up and said it was super easy. For the price, it's a great deal. Easy to fold & store if you don't want to use it as well. I will say that with just the memory foam mattress on the frame, the bed sits pretty low. But we really don't mind. No problems with creaking or anything though we've only been using it for a few weeks.
