A Johnny Denver Cover? No, really, John Denver...and Yellow man makes it sound sweet as sunshine on a breezy carribean beach baby!

Fun...that's all this cd is about. It's not pretentious, it's not complex, it's not annoying, it's pure enjoyment in a carefree and fun package. soothing rythms and beats that do nothing less than ease the soul, relax the mind and make you feel like smoking the fattest blizzy within a 10 mile square radius.

I listened to this cd a lot years ago, but recently thanks to downloading things for very cheap and a new computer, I rediscovered Senior Yellow. I wholeheartedly enjoyed it then and ditto now. Make him a part of your collection; great for background music, long drives, blizzle mizzles, or any other reason to have speakers on.

That's how long it took me to get hooked on this CD the first time I heard it. This is just simply fun music that will put a smile on your face every time you hear it. The tunes are very catchy and I cannot help but feel like dancing when I hear them. Yellowman even manages to make John Denver sound good with his cover of Take Me Home Country Roads. Mind you, that is no small task. If you want to really give the bass on your stereo a test, turn up Strong Me Strong and groove right along! Any reggae fan owes it to himself or herself to own this CD if they don't already. And if you get the chance, you must see Yellowman live in concert. It's truly one of the best concerts ever, reggae or otherwise. Hail King Yellowman!

This album made me into a reggae fan. I love the Yellowman's style. The beats are tight and the lyrics are innovative. The album contains some great slow grinds. I repeat: Get this album. K'ya hear me?

I am a huge reggae fan. I LOVE this CD. Yellowman's kinky beats, soaring guitar licks, and smooth delivery make Yellowman one of the best reggae artists of all time! GET THIS CD!!!

Nice selection of tunes for fluff reggae enjoyment. Yellowman uses his voice as another instrument supplying pop and syncopation with the sparse music employed. Fun, fast, and entertaining... just don't expect to get anything out of the lyrics.

Because i like reggae so much .... this is the first reggae album i've ever listened to. I was 12 years old and now i'm 29 and i still cannot get enough of this album. Seriously, this album really does have happy, good vibe for me. I will boast that this music will give summertime feelings even in wintertime! Bold claims, aye? I'm sure you'll agree with me. If you want to buy any Yellowman album, this is the one you should own. Stop stalling. Buy it. Now! This isn't a request :) .

I am a reggae fan of almost seven years now and I must say that this is one of King Yellowman's best albums of all times and he clearly demonstrates his strong ability of being able to sing and "toast" or rap on this one. All these songs are hits, especially: "Strong Me Strong", "Jamaica Nice, Take Me Home Country Roads", "Summer Holiday", and "Reggae Calypso" - which of course is a killer calyso song.

Yellowman really has all the hits on this one, and this album is a must for any who loves old school dancehall or just plain roots reggae. King Yellowman will also keep u laughing and singing to this "one of a kind" reggae album for years to come!

Yellowman is by far the best Reggae D.J. that Jamaica has produced. I first heard him in the early '80's and since then I have not come across another who can top him. His lyrics.....that RAW beat.....well, you must have a listen!

For anyone who is familiar with the rub-a-dub of the 80s this is a "must-have" album.
