I bought this card for my new Kodak 1012IS. I bought the card from TheMemstore, and wow, I can't believe how awesome this deal is. I got the reader, brand new, and brand new packed 4 gig HS class 6 SDHC card! Amazing. Can't go wrong. Get it if you were planning to get a reader, get the card for FREE. Amazing. Beyond words. Thank you Amazon and THEmemstore. The card was immediately recognized by my Kodak 1012IS, worked blazing fast for pics and HIGH Definition videos from the 1012IS. I love it. Will def. buy again.

If you ignore the description, and consider this product to be a compact USB SDHC card reader with a free 4GB card, this is a great value proposition. The SD card in this deal is kind of junk; I've had to use recovery software to extract some of the files on the card each time I've used it. Maybe I have a bad one. So discount the card, and consider it purely for trivial use. The reader is actually a neat bit of kit; caps to protect the card slot and the USB plug, activity light, and small enough to slip into a pocket of my camera bag. Not a bad deal.

This is a pretty cute little card reader.Fast, functional and won't take up a ton of space in your camera or laptop bag. Never had any problems with it reading the included card or any other. You know what's funny here? We're SUPPOSED to be buying (and rating) the memory card... but everybody buys this for the FREE included USB card reader! :) So, just to keep it on topic... the card works great too! A great buy. For the price of a decent memory card, you also get a reader. Can't beat that. Have Fun! :)

I bought this to go with my Canon Power Shot for a trip to Europe. I was there for 10 days and shot around 2000 pics with no problems. We used the reader to upload pics to a computer from 4 different cameras using 4 different types of memory cards.

Hi all,Got this for my new Canon 950, 12MP camera. I am to understand that higher the class rating for a SDHC card, faster it is in recording stuff. Now, before I purchased this, I did buy a 4Gig SD class 2 card for $12 from 6th Avenue Electronics. Everytime I took pictures with that card, the image seemed to be blurred. I then tried to keep the camera still after taking the picture and the images were fine. This is similar to my Samsung T719 phone. When I got this card from Amazon and started using it in my camera, the blurring effect stopped. Class 6 (higher speed of recording) made the difference. Again, I cannot vouch for the actual speed of the product - I have to go by the manufacturer. As everyone knows, this is a gray area and claims can be made until someone starts squeaking with actual test results. Either way, I have found this product to work satisfactorily in my camera. I have probably shot about less than 500 pictures and the camera is still showing that I have the capacity to shoot another 1960 shots - which is still about 500 less than the total of 2500 as calculated theoritically. Again, all this depends upon the type of pic. being taken. Hope this helps. Later. |
