Before checking here I thought "The Finale" was an Explosions in the Sky piece.
Very nice instrumental.

Danny Elfman continues to impress with the soundtrack to an already excellent movie. His instrumental pieces in this work are truly outstanding tunes that will haunt your imagination.

"The Kingdom" was a great film; the story is compelling, the characters are realistic, and the action is thrilling. Make sure you rent and/or purchase this title when she arrives on DVD and HDDVD in the upcoming future.
Danny's score is great and I enjoyed his music. I love every track (especially the last track used for the film's finale). Some of the tracks are exciting and others are subtle; every track is great. I recommend this film score for those who enjoyed the movie.

Beautiful, haunting, effective soundtrack. I too came here to find out the composer of the finale, also thinking it might be Explosions in the Sky. It's a good film, definitely enhanced by the soundtrack.

This is a haunting and memorable score to a fine movie production. I recommend both the movie and the soundtrack.

Tim Burton's Man on different road again...,

While we're still waiting (with reducing patience, I might add)for another masterful and mindblowing collaboration of the director-king Tim Burton and the master of film music, Danny Elfman, we have to remain steady, and deal with this semi electronic, semi orchestral work for an action movie score. Since Burton is off with Johnny Depp doing the musical Sweeney Todd, Elfman is not to be hired because of the excisting "original" musical material. But fear not, they'll team up soon for Ripley's Believe It Or Not, a flick about Robert Ripley, the famous and infamous eccentric collector of unusual and crazy artifacts. Until then, here's The Kingdom, a not so superb, but still entertaining excercise from the pen of the creator of Batman. Enjoy.
