You can see that Shiro Amano's Artwork is getting better since the debut with the first KH Mangas!
I highly recommend buying it if you are a KH Fan or just getting to know the series, but I would start with Kingdom Hearts, Vol. 1

I'm a huge fan of the Kingdom Hearts series. With the addition of this book to my collection, i have gotten one step closer to obtaining everything KH related. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the books based on the games and would recommend them to everyone.

Purchased this as a christmas gift and it went over well. My niece collects these books and stated she enjoys kingdom hearts 2 but had difficulty finding copies and she was glad I could find this for her gift.

This book I bought it for my daughters...they are manga's and kingdom heart's fan....By the way they were laughing...I can say that its a fun book to read, and nice book to collect.

The Kingdom Heart books must have been very popular at the time of my ordering this book for my grandson. It was unavailable. I was updated by email about its backorder for a couple months, then promptly refunded my money. Thanks Amazon.

How is this item nearly $80 dollars now? this is very absurd. It can't be out of print. May someone please explain this?

I am a Kingdom Hearts Fan. I buy the games, watch the videos and read the books. I have nothing wrong with the kingdom Hearts franchise. The only problem is just the overall story in the book is different from the game.

Okay, I understand that if you play a game and then read a book about the game, you would get bored with it. But in Kingdom Hearts II Volume 1, they try to take away the magic that makes it such a great game! Like the first Kingdom Hearts book series, they try to rely on comedy to keep things fresh and new and they actually work! Not so much as in the second KH series. They try to make jokes and puns that don't work in the series.

The good thing about the book is the great work done by Shiro Amano who provided work for the first KH series as well as the "Chain of Memories" books. With a vivid imagination and asking himself "What if this world existed?" he created images that flew together and mad you look at every little detail.

I recommend that you read this series, however I suggest you read off the shelf (when you read it in the store rather than buying it). It is a waste of money for me and I believe this is the first time that they dropped the ball in the KH series.

All I can say is I'm a HUGE fan of the kingdom hearts series of books & games and this manga does not disappoint. A must have for every kh fanatic.
