This is a challenging book. It directly addresses the issue of Christians not being able to get along, and gives us the "ABC's" of love - Acceptance, Bearing, Creative Prayer.

There are some more historical tidbits from Hannah's very interesting life, and some very real spiritual challenges here. I come away disgusted with myself, but hopeful in a God big enough to change me!

I have read Hannah Hurnard's Hinds' Feet on High Places, but this one hit my heart as nothing I have read in a long time. There is so much division and judgment against one another in the Christian community and I see Hannah's revelation as the only answer for Unity in the Body of Christ. Return to your first love.

Hannah Hurnard provides thought provoking insights into selfless love of others. From her years of experience on the mission field, she tells how she came to love both non-Christians and her fellow missionaries from different denominations and viewpoints. She is candid about her struggles and short-comings and how God worked in her to give her love for all people.
