A must for the RTS game fans!,

First of all, the graphic of this game is awesome. Since I once was a huge fan of Starcraft and Warcraft II, this game has some similarities and differences with those games. This game has the Heroes, which make players of this game get in deeply involved. Also you can play as RPG mode like Diablo II. The movements and motions of the characters are very smooth and realistic. Sound? A++! However, this game is quiet similar with Starcraft. Nevertheless, special moves and magic attacks are fantastic, thanks to advanced technology. This game is not perfect yet, but some future patches will definitly make this game a big hit! Caution, this game is highly addictive! I play about 2-3 hours daily. Over all, I strongly recommand this game!

The box looks cool; the idea is good and that's about it. This games tries to mix two game-play styles (i.e.: Diablo & War Craft). The War Craft duplicate is good but it lacks the diversity of the original. It doesn't have as many advanced characters and using spells is tricky. The Diablo imitation is even less impressive. Armor and other equipment is a joke and trying to manage two players is a pain. The AI is laughable and the cut screens are unavoidable and annoying.Wait for War Craft III

Kingdom Under Fire was a really good game and, I enjoyed it immensely. Unfortunately I lost the CDKEY and was unable to reinstall it after my computer crashed so, I haven't played it lately. To me it was an equal to the Warcraft games and, I would play it again if I could only reacquire another key in order to get the game to reinstall.

A good story with old graphics,

If you like the fantasy genre then you'll like this basic game. It has it all, the young warrior passing through a village that is attacked by an orcish horde. Conversely, you can be the very orcs that attacks, burning and pillaging the same exact village. Blending RTS and RPG works fairly well be prepared to play long into the night once a battle is started because there is NO in game save...however master stratigists neednt worry for the AI just sit back kick your feet up and watch the cut scenes and immerse yourself in this fantasy realm.

Kingdom Under Fire: A War of Heroes takes place in the land of Berish, a fantasy realm with a shady past. Rick Miner, a hero who perished in battle against the Black Dragon Nibles (we can only assume it's not pronounced "nibbles"), has been resurrected. But his resurrection is twisted and he's returned as Rick Blood, possessing all the powers of Nibles and worse.
While the game is reminiscent of WarCraft, enough innovation and gameplay make it formidable and excellent in its own right. As befitting what is primarily a strategy game, the main character, Curian, must sally forth on various missions, all inevitably involving large-scale warfare. Like the Heroes Chronicles series, buildings are created to supply various troops, resources culled to feed and clothe them and heroes lead armies into battle. Combat is conducted in real-time, which creates a sense of immediacy that separates it from turn-based role-playing strategies. When orcs come in waves to attack human villages, each raid heightens the tension. When an entire army of knights comes galloping onto the screen, there's a palpable sense of relief. This ambiance alone makes Kingdom Under Fire a real treat. Flaws in the game are minor. For example, with a synchronous strategy game of this type, you're often forced to scroll quickly from one part of the overland map to another, which can make for some dizzying situations that a better interface could have eliminated, such as a means of flipping quickly between structures. This is not a new concept, as games like Daggerfall that easily handle distance traveling illustrate. Some players may dislike the save option, available only at the end of each scenario. Graphics constitute one of the great strengths of the game. Each character is meticulously detailed as they walk, work or engage in combat. Whenever a character type is selected, a 3D animation of his or her head appears. While the animation is not coordinated with the audio, it does provide a more intimate contact with troop types that would otherwise be lost from a bird's-eye view. Between scenarios, animated CGI-movies tell the story. There is no lack of audio in Kingdom Under Fire: A War of Heroes. Clicking repeatedly on a character isn't as humorous as WarCraft but there's enough variety in the responses to make them entertaining. The voices representing the various troop types are unique enough to distinguish who is who by sound alone, an important factor when frantically sending orders. Overall, Kingdom Under Fire provides just the right mix of graphics, sound and strategy to make for an entertaining evening of orc-bashing.

I first got intoplay with this game after seeing my friend play the demo and after getting into it, soon enough I thought "Wow, this looks like an exhlirating game; I have to buy it" So about months later I did, and I have to say the Single Campaign mode is pure awesome, real time effects real depth and background to the character and the RPG modes andinterfaces have been done really well, e.g when you are searching for the Drwafen Leader with Curian". YheROG modes are just specifically for the heroes, Kiether, Rick Blood etc etc..Unfortunately the let down is that in the Custom Campaign mode you can have no allies and 1 type of gameplay which is "Melee", when in battle all the AI players are automatically aligned withe ach other so if you had 8 people including yoruself, it would be a 1v7 match.

If you like the Warcraft series and the Diablo games than you'll like this game too. It basically combines the two formats into one and creates a worthwhile gaming experience. It's nothing original as far as the gameplay but it is still a very fun and exciting game.

I was waiting for this game months before its release. When it finally came out I rushed to the store to buy it. Don't make the same mistake I did. Words cannot explain the hatred I have for this ... game. Graphics, gameplay, units. They all ... I repeat don't waste your money.
