5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Family Series. We all LOVED it! Very Inspiring., April 27, 2011
This review is from: Kingdom's Reign (Kingdom, Book 6) (Paperback)
Review written by 14 year old girl:

Kingdom's Reign is the final book in The Kingdom Series by Chuck Black. I really liked the story and Chuck Black does an excellent job by including a little bit of everything in his stories to attract readers of all kinds. There are tense fights, appropriate romances, loyal horses, mystical animals, powerful swords, immense castles, and the ever-present battle of good and evil.

Everyone is finally going home to the Kingdom across the sea. The Prince has called all the faithful home and all the Knights of the Prince make a silent exodus to the docks where ships full of Silent Warriors are waiting for them. But the Battle for Arrethtrae isn't over. Some of the people of Chessington, who were left under the oppressive rule of the evil Dark Knight, wish to turn and serve the Prince. So every Knight of the Prince and Silent Warrior returns to Arrethtrae to defeat the Dark Knight. The Prince wins the Battle and sends the Dark Knight to the Wastelands and there is seven years of peace and celebration. But as the seventh annual feast nears, Sir Cedric and Lady Talea discover that the peace has become an illusion and the Dark Knight isn't done with his scheming to kill the Prince and rule the Kingdom.

This is an incredible re-telling of the book of Revelation and written on such a level that everyone can understand it. Every Knight of the Prince went to the Kingdom across the sea and we will also go to our home in heaven. Just as the Prince defeated the Dark Knight so Christ will defeat Satan.

Kingdom's Reign was an amazing book and a recommend it to anyone who is willing to make time for the unbelievably powerful words of Chuck Black.

I only use 5 stars on books I buy for my permanent library. This book is part of my "all ages" library.

5.0 out of 5 stars enthralling allegory, May 16, 2007
This review is from: Kingdom's Reign (Kingdom, Book 6) (Paperback)
The Knights of the Prince have spread his ways all across the realm. Now it is time for the believers to be taken to the Kingdom Across the Sea where the King lives while the rest of the world of unbelievers undergoes many tribulations. When the boats land in their new home the Knights of the Prince are admitted to a beautiful new world where peace and harmony reign. Some years later, the ruler of Chessington prepares to make a last stand against Lucius and his Shadow Warriors.

It is time for the Prince and his Knights to return and fight the Dark Lord.. Their victory sends Lucius and his Shadow Warrior to the Wasteland prison and the Knights sets about to create a government where the Prince is the ruler. The new world is a place of peace and prosperity until all is threatened when Lucius and his minions escape their prison and go to war against the Prince.

Readers will get a glimpse of what paradise might look like in KINGDOM'S REIGN. There is a lot of action in this novel told from the perspective of Cedric, a warrior in the Knights of the Prince who becomes a politician when the Prince wins the first battle against Lucius. Based on biblical prophecies couched in a fantasy like setting, readers will find themselves absorbed with this enthralling allegory.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story with a Christian Message, August 23, 2011

Love this whole series. I am a grandmother and listen with my grandchildren, and children who like it as much as their
kids do. Maybe because I am a kid at heart I so enjoyed the knights and swords as a way of bringing the message of Christ in a different light without compromise. It inspires devotion to our God in everyday life. Loved it.
