3.0 out of 5 stars Pictures I wish weren't included......, November 1, 2009

This review is from: The Kingfisher Atlas of Exploration and Empires (Hardcover)
I really liked the history in this book and the way it is organized, and most of the pictures. But....it contains some pictures I do not want to cover with our kids yet....an Aztec human sacrifice, a man being tortured in the Inquisition, and an execution at the guillotine. I'm going to pass on this book until our kids are older.
