The Kingfisher Science Encyclopedia,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Kingfisher Science Encyclopedia (Hardcover)
This is an encyclopedia written for beginning levels of interest. Most of your elementary school science reference questions can be answered with this book. It has great full color illustrations, diagrams, and charts. It even includes some simple experiments to illustrate the entries. Perfect for adding that little extra spice to a packaged curriculum for homeschooling families.

Great book, but really out of date,
This review is from: The Kingfisher Science Encyclopedia (Hardcover)
This is a great book, too bad the publishers haven't come out with a replica, revised but in same format. It's way behind on technology (one day everyone may carry a cell phone -- really??!!) We own this and have loved it over the years, but I'm trying to get a new encyclopedia to replace it, and there just isn't one!

My 9 year old son loves this book. He has assigned items to look up but always gets sidetracked with other things he notices. Science takes forever this way, but who can complain?
