This review is from: The Kingfisher Treasury of Stories for Eight Year Olds (Paperback)
The Kingfisher Treasuries are all great collections of stories. My Kids look forward to their Birthdays and reading the next "Stories for X year olds" and the 8 year old collection was as good as all the previous ones. The quality of the writing is excellent and the stories are always imaginative and thought provoking. Each story is the right length for a bedtime read. Highly recommended, especially for families suffering from the formula written dull as ditchwater modern book series that are around.

This book has many instances as do all Kingfisher books regarding gender bending.
It is not for boys impressionable boys to be reading such material. We threw ours out.
