30 Seconds to Mars has been a favorite band of mine for a long time.

Kings and Queens did not let me down!

This single shows a definite evolution of their musical style, but I definitely would not classify it as "pop". Instead, I hear traces of Angels & Airwaves and U2 in Kings and Queens, mixed with classic 30 Seconds. So, overall, an epic single!

Let me start by recounting how the album was classified by Amazon in the MP3's id tag: Pop. And that is fitting for this single, and possibly the album if this is any indication. Now, me personally, I like it, but I am a fan of pop. Those who are used to the harder sounds of the first two album may be disappointed. But obviously, the album hasn't come out yet. It's a good song, I think, but a fair warning to those expecting something more like the first album.

Initially bought this per my 10 year old son's request, ended up LOVING it myself. Was a bit on the fence about 30 Seconds to Mars, but this pushed me over to the "Love them" side.

This little known band is about to break out. King of Queens is a very moving song. Amazing video complements the even more amazing lyrics.

Chorus and bridge rock! I will be buying the album - I hope it's as good as this first single. Check out the video on YT - neat.

I - by far - have been a fan of 30 Seconds to Mars from day one, before knowing the lead singer was Jared Leto. I must say, I have been waiting for their third album "This Is War" to be released. However, I was looking for the release date & found out what it was, also stumbling upon this song! I've listened to it & I really enjoy it! I must admit that 30 Seconds to Mars has not only evolved into a fantastic band, but evolved their taste of music, but also what they choose to do for the music. The first album all together sounded very much like Depeche Mode, while their sound album had an all new sound, where you could tell from just the first few notes or first few words uttered by the lead singer, Jared Leto, may say.

I'm very excited for not only this new album, but what this album will bring. The album will be released in December, 2009 (Unless they push the date back...Again).
