Kadoodle is eager to join this elite group, so the next day he proudly crows at just the right time. Hayward's animated prose will be great for reading aloud, and Goldfinger's charming, richly hued and textured illustrations incorporate plenty of playful perspectives, expressive animals, and whimsical scenes for kids to enjoy. I have a 6 year old girl and a 3 year old boy. They both love "The Kings Chorus" and ask me to read it all the time at bedtime. I think it's because they are intrigued by the concept that the earth is moving continually around the sun (which the story teaches), and because they find the story kind of magical! They also find the story very funny, and love all the cute animal characters. A great buy!
