"The King's Daughter and Other Stories for Girls" is part of my daily Bible Study curriculum for my daughters and I. The stories use sometimes serious situations to show moral choices and consequences. There is depth and heart in each short story, which I admit has frequently brought me to tears. One story in particular involved a cause and effect involved in bearing false witness. The consequence was to the point where all of us ladies were choked up, my youngest sobbing. Think "Little House on the Prairie" in short story form. I recommend this book to all of my Christian Homeschooling friends.

We absolutely loved this book. We used it as a read aloud resource for my daughter, & it really helped strengthen her reading skills when we read it together because the language is so rich. The stories are wonderful & get the child thinking. I love the short story format. We homeschool & have taken a story a week to read & reflect on the moral meanings. I can't say enough good things about this book! A must buy if you have girls!

Our Home Ec curriculum requires this book. I'm so glad! The compilation of very short stories teaches godly values and work ethic, obedience and good character. Timeless collection of excellent teaching! All children should hear these stories.
