This review is from: Kings Mountain and Its Heroes: History of the Battle of King's Mountain, October 7, 1780, and the Events Which Led to It (Hardcover)
The fact that this ancient book is still considered to be The Bible on Kings Mountain indicates two very different things. First, that it is a valuable resource and the place to start when doing any reading or research on this pivotal fight. Second, however, is that it says a lot about the state of scholarship on the battle--we need a modern monograph!!
