A true "Chronicle" of their early Career,
By kxcd (Great Lakes State) - See all my reviews
This review is from: King's X Chronicles [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Definatly a "Must have" for all true King's X fans. The first 6 videos that were produced, way back when Atlantic Records supported their artists. Complete with the band wearing the Toy Soldier coats! Very cool to have. Thank God they are with Metal Blade now!...DRC

Silly fun!,

This is a collection of music videos from King's X's first 3 albums. Most of the videos are silly or attempt to be profound, but still come off fun.
For the most part, the video is good because you get to see and hear King's X. All of the songs, "King", "Shot Of Love", "Over My Head", "Summerland", "It's Love", and "We Are Finding Who We Are", are good choices from their albums. It is a kind of MTV for a band that never got the recognition that they deserved and therefore never got airplay. Still, it is a fun video for any fan.

A Great Video Collection in its Time,
By Batmanbrb "batmansbrb" (Seymour, IN United States) - See all my reviews

I think this video was my very first music video I ever bought. Back in the day, this was a gem in any progressive music lover's collection. Videos included are: "King" and "Shot of Love" from their 'Out of the Silent Planet' release; "Over my Head" and "Summerland" from the 'Gretchen Goes to Nebraska' release; and "It's Love" and "We are Finding Who We Are" from 'Faith Hope Love' release. I remember loving all these videos so much and watching them over and over. After many years, I plopped it into the VCR and it is still entertaining. There are some moments that were very cool back in the day that now, I find somewhat comical - but it's still a very good video. One of the many joys of King's X is how tight this group is in their friendship of each other - it easily translates on video very well just how strong their friendship is and how much they love what they are doing.

This is a great video to own and not trade with anyone. I highly recommend this tape of great King's X videos. It would be a great addition to any King's X fans collection. You can post stills of this item for others to see and not have.

A solid foundation for the King's X videography,

Way back to the days of Ty, Doug, and Jerry acting like kids again...the only way to enter the kingdom of heaven. See the silliness of "Its Love" and the touching scenes of "Summerland." I can hear the music, and see it, too...and it's Over My Head.

Tape of amazing early rock music tunes!,
By Franz Kiffka "the figure that sniggers" (Manchester,UK.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: King's X Chronicles [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This short half hour or so tape documents the first few single music videos from this influential underrated heavy rock band. All videos are really cool, some strange, bizarre, fantastic, uplifting rock music. Excellent, but should be a second volume of videos from tunes release in the many years since as they are still making many fine rock albums and touring. Cool stuff.

A must have for King's X fans!!!!!,
By A Customer
This review is from: King's X Chronicles [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Since MTV doesn't give King's X quality airtime anymore, this is one of the only ways to hear and SEE the band in action. These videos are from the first three albums (2 songs from each), and including such classics as 'King', 'Over My Head' and 'Its Love'. Not the greatest videos I've ever seen, but when you consider when they were shot, not bad either .... and hey, "THESE GUYS TOTALLY ROCK!!!!!"
