I love having this handy cooking tool.

I use it on my pancake griddle to cook bacon.

I just have to remember to wipe down with some cooking oil after I clean to prevent the rust.

The wooden handle keeps it cool!

I bought this a month ago for cooking sausages on the stove in my 8" Cuisinart stainless frying pan. It does the job perfectly for the package of 4 sausages I cook often. With the weight, I get even browning round each sausage. I use my 3 qt. Cuisi sauce pan to keep the splatters down, as it covers the handle height and matches the diameter of the 8" fry pan.

So glad I made this purchase! Cooking -- especially even browning of sausages -- is much less hassle.

This is a great grill press. I was looking for something that had an old-fashioned look, was inexpensive yet practial. This met all my criteria.

Well, it's a hunk of cast iron with a handle. What can you say? It holds down the food being cooked and does not stick to it. That is what I wanted. Easy to clean and reasonably priced.

A press is not an absolute necessity when cooking but an absolute convenience. I did my homework. Looked at various presses in stores and online, read the reviews and bought the Kingsford: Best size, best construction, heavy enough. I am pleased with the product.

Bought this to use as a bacon press in our iron skillet. Makes cooking bacon a snap-- Preheat in skillet, add 2-3 slices bacon (cut in half) and replace press. Forget it while you work on the rest of the meal; come back in a couple of minutes and you have flat perfectly-cooked bacon! Love it!! (Great quality-- Made in USA!)

Maybe I missed it in the product description before I purchased this, but I wish this was actually heavier. I wanted a press that would really 'press'. It works for somethings, but I still need something heavier for panini's and such.

This press is so worth the money. I use it for paninis and it has a great weight to it. It does the trick without much effort. I can't do without it now.

The Kingsford Grill Press is great. Very easy to clean and keep seasoned. I have had no rust problems with it or loose handle issues. Granted you have to handwash it but it's worht the little time to clean and season it before you store it. It has good weight and covers bacon well, even works great on the Bison burgers I cook for my family. I'm very happy with it.
