This is an EP by the Grand National from Buffalo, NY, not the Grand National from London, England. Amazon is selling the CDs together as if they were the same band, so be careful.

The Cd is excellent in recording sound. Very professional. There are 5 tracks, the whole Cd lasting a little more than 15 minutes. All songs are excellent; the sound is like new beatles. My personal favorite is track 5! Buy it now! ...

5 strong songs from a very talented and promising band. If you like weezer, E.L.O, cheap trick, Beatles or coward, you'll think you died and gone to heaven. Who knew buffalo NY had it in 'em. Must be something in the wings up there. ... Real songs with clever lyrics, great pop hooks without being contrived. And....It ROCKS! Well Done! The only bad part is that there isn't more of it!

The first thing that comes to mind when listening to this album is, "Why in the heck aren't these guys signed yet?!"
The band, although relatively young in the grand scheme of things, is actually made up of veterans of the music scene and it shines through in all it's glory throughout the CD.
Two songs that stand out as definite single contenders are "Space of you" and "Had it in my Head". Both songs are great examples of their ability to write a radio-friendly tune without overdoing it.
Don't be surprised to hear from them on a national level once the word gets out. Not at all what I would have expected in a freshman effort... and that's a good thing!

While this band isn't terrible, this is not the same Grand National from England. Amazon acts as though it is. If you want a more raw, traditional rock album, this is okay. If you want the eclectic electronica-rock of the more popular Grand National, don't buy this album!

A fantastic disc featuring five delicious originals, unfortunately the length leaves you wanting more. Anxiously awaiting more releases from this power/punk/pop quartet from Buffalo, NY. If you like these guys, drink some beer!

I've had the pleasure of driving down to see these guys from Canada and believe me this group has it. This CD was produced in Los Angeles by a semi-well known producer named Dan Trumfio and he did up their sound right. Great songs, solid rythym section, memorable choruses, interesting lyrics. A must have new rock band in the vein of Sloan, The Replacements, Sugar & Weezer.

I just heard these guys in concert and live on the radio. They are the next Weezer but who thinks they sound like the Beatles? Grand National is one of the best Buffalo bands check out Klear also.
