I bought this product for my husband's birthday and he seemed to like it. I was a bit disappointed that all of the parts are just plastic - I thought it was going to be a bit heavier and more "old-fashioned." Nonetheless, my husband uses it everyday and said just the brush was worth the money. Also he thought the brush was a bit small. It took one full week to get here.

My husband said this: This shaving kit has an excellent silvertip badger brush which make the set worth more than it may seem. Also the soap cup has a brilliant mirror on the reverse side which comes in handy. I love it!

Well it's been about 7 months since I wrote the review above and I was wrong. Don't buy this product!!!!!
The dish permanently stained an old porcelain sink that will absolutely not come off and the brush head has since detached from it's handle! What a waste!

The product is just ok. It is plastic, making it cheaper, but easy to clean. I think the brush for me is not as high quality as others, hence I do NOT use it. Same for the razor, I use a different razor. So while the stand functions well for keeping all the items in one place, I lose that "everything matches' look and feel. Ah well. I do think it is overpriced for what it is.

The Shaving set is really great looking I cannot wait to start using it. IT looks much more expensive than it was. I'm very Pleased

Nicely made.it has a chrome silver finished the shaving stand and the other accessorys are painted navy blue.the lid on the bowl that comes with the stand has a mirror built in the lid of the bowl a nice set for thouse who like to shape with a razor .

I received this set from my loving wife and with in one week the brush came off the handle, the razor fell apart, the stand got wet and rusted which stained my sink with a huge red rust stain! I am left with a plastic bowl that i use to hold extra shave soaps. Very disappointed. If you are looking to buy a set there are other better made products out there.
