5.0 out of 5 stars a kingsnake keeper must
in the short time i have had this book it has taught me so much about the care of these amazing reptiles. it goes into great lengths to assist with setting up your tank, feeding, and provides lots of pictures. i recommend this for anyone interested in keeping a kingsnake or milksnake.

3.0 out of 5 stars good beginner guide
This is a colorful book with big bright photos. The first chapter has anatomy drawings that show how a snake 'works'. Easy instructions on basic care- housing, feeding, breeding, illness. There's a couple pages on how to raise your own rodents. Also a section about species and subspecies where they are from, size, habitat, habits, and coloration.
