5.0 out of 5 stars To the guy who shat on this album.
Please buy this album, it is worth the money ten times over.

If anyone thinks that Eminem is the only white rapper that's any good, then you obviously don't get out much. Don't get me wrong, Eminem is good, be he isn't the best, ever listen to Atmosphere, front man slug is white and he's amazing? Twiztid? I'm not the biggest juggalo in the world, but I...

2.0 out of 5 stars Seriously?
This album is not very good at all. This is when Loc and Richter really turned to the lil john mainstream side. Just listen to drunk in da club. People say they stepped up in this album and i completely disagree. All it is is big talk and bad rhymes. There's no talent required for what the kings have done here. Everything sounds rushed. The songs aren't even very long and...

If anyone thinks that Eminem is the only white rapper that's any good, then you obviously don't get out much. Don't get me wrong, Eminem is good, be he isn't the best, ever listen to Atmosphere, front man slug is white and he's amazing? Twiztid? I'm not the biggest juggalo in the world, but I can appreciate a good thing when I hear it. And Kingspade is certainly good; hard beats, tight lyrics, music in general that just flows out of your speaker with ease. Open up you mind man, its not about your skin color, its the quality of the flow, and to a certain extent what your saying.

Also, to compare the KMK/Kingspade sound and the ICP sound is like apples and oranges, while they are both styles of rap, they are two different entities. Its like saying Westside and Crunk are the same thing, it just doesn't work.

The problem we have here is that KMK and Kingspade aren't mainstream. One must concede that if significant airplay was given and the proper marketing scheme was applied your review would have been much different.

5.0 out of 5 stars BUY THIS NOW!!!!, August 29, 2004
This review is from: Kingspade (Audio CD)
Loc and Richter oudid themselves. Any(and I mean ANY) hip-hop fan would love this album. It's a damn shame that the only people who will buy this are KMK/Subnoize fans because this is THE album of the year!!!!!!! I have not stopped listening to it since Tuesday(the day it came out).

I just purchased this cd, and I already think it's better than any other solo KMK album. You should definatly purchase this cd. This cd has tight lyrics that flow and hard hitting beats.

Like a lot of people who are down for tha krown, i had very high expectations for the Kingspade album and let me just say D-Loc and Richter exceeded them. They really stepped up their game on this album and really showed people what they can do. This album is just amazing. It`s one of those cds that you can`t stop bumping. I highly recommend for anyone that loves speaker bumping hip hop. BTW I hope that KMK will incorporate some of the fat beats on the Kingspade album on their next album. Anyway favorite songs: Drunk in the Club, Same Ole Bitches, Spaded, Faded, and Jaded, So. Cali Weather, and Who`s Down(my personal favorite).

5.0 out of 5 stars Good shit, August 26, 2004
This review is from: Kingspade (Audio CD)
After having to drive an hour to find a store carrying this album, I must say it was worth it. How is it that the best hip-hop album out right now is flying completely under everyones radar unless you are a kmk/suburban noize fan. Its a shame they don't have major distribution anymore because if this album got any radio play they would be huge. The lyrics of this album are great and the flow is even better. The beats are excellent as well. If you don't have this album get it, and if you do expose it to as many people as possible

if you like d loc and richter w/kmk, then you'll really love them on this side project. the beats and lyrics blew me away. this is better than anything out on mtv. anyone who compares this to eminem probably didn't even listen to it. kingspade got everyone beat, if you think that eminem is the only good white rapper, then you got some issues. these guys and the whole subzoize tribe deserve a lot more respect than they receive. anyway, this whole album is great, but my favorites are:
this that beat, keep risin, life, and spaded jaded and faded. buy this album if you are tired of the same old mtv crap, you will enjoy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars White boys that can really rap (Not for Eminem fans), March 4, 2005

This review is from: Kingspade (Audio CD)
Some Mtv rap fan wrote a review on this & it said something to the effect of the rapping on this album wasn't good enough & only Feminem is a good white rapper. That dude needs to realize the difference in rap (Kingspade) & pop (Eminem). Listen to some grown folks' music, dude. Eminem was posing for TEEN MAGAZINE while D-Loc & Richter, along with the rest of KMK, were being interviwed by HIGH TIMES. Just because they don't play it on the radio doesn't mean it's not good...point proven because this is the best rap CD out. Oh...& never compare these guys to ICP...Eminem is more like ICP than anything on Sub Noize. PEACE!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sickist Sounds Around, March 14, 2005
This review is from: Kingspade (Audio CD)
Alright, I've been listening to the Kottonmouth Kings for bout 5 years, and their music is top of the line quality. THere is nothing better to listen to when kicking back, having a little Bud of both kinds. If you're a fan of their free-spirited, out on the front lines style, you'll love the new KingSpade with D-Loc and Johhny Richter. Smoking Doja, In the Club, Same ole Bi*ches, every track in fact, will take you by the collar and lead you down the same high energy, great chillen pathway. You get this CD, and believe me, you'll be very very happy with your decision. KMK for life...

Personally, I enjoyed this cd more then KMK's last two. Especially FIRE IT UP. I don't dig the punk-rock at all and I don't know why their albums keep featuring more and more of it. Save that for the Humble Gods, Daddy.

Anyways, anyone who digs the KMK's at their best(sick-azz beats, tight flows) should pick this cd up. Hopefully their next album will incorporate more of this.
