5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect
My Kingston 128 MB SmartMedia card was just what I was looking for. Getting ready to go to Hawaii....this additional card will give me ample picture taking room. Purchase was flawless. When I need another card, I'll be buy another Kingston.

2.0 out of 5 stars incompatibility issues
Bought one new. Doesn't work in any of the following cameras:
Olympus C4040, C3020, C4000, E20. Got "media error" when trying
to format. Can't access it from a PC using a PCMCIA adaptor.
Can format and read/write fine using a Memorex USB reader.
Filed a warranty claim with Kingston and got a replacement.
Still can't work in E20 but can...

on eBay soon.

I purchased this Viking Smart Media card for my Olympus C4000 in July, based on recommendations I read here. I ended up using it right away for several work related events. It is absolutely wonderful and a can't miss for the price. I recently purchased a second one and may get a third soon as I keep seeing that Smart Media may go away soon.

This is a great media card for the price, especially when you consider like brands sell for much more.

It's amazing that 128 MB can fit in something that is about 1/100th the size of my 100 MB ZipDisc. The card works fine, and that's all you can ask it to do. The price is great also, considering that when I bought my digital 4-track, the store tried to sell me a sililar 128 MB smart disc card for 100 bucks. If you're into anything digital, this is the way to go.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good New...Bad News, September 10, 2005
This review is from: Kingston 128 MB SmartMedia Card 3.3V (SM/128) (Personal Computers)
The product is of excellent quality and is fairly priced....the bad news is that the shipping costs eliminate any benefit to purchasing the product.....$8.95 to ship something the size and weight of a credit card is , simply put, thievery.....Never again
