5.0 out of 5 stars Nice for the price
Pros: High capacity, works well, good price, seems to be fast. No complaints.

Cons: Be aware that not all SD card readers understand the HC cards (and you need to be sure your camera etc. is compatible as well). Microsoft support is spotty, driver updates are coming - someday. If you want something faster than connecting your camera to the PC, get a reader...

1.0 out of 5 stars The price IS too good to be true; mine was a lemon
I bought this with my Canon a570. The camera is fantastic, but the card is another story. It worked fine at first, but a month later, I went to India and now half of my pictures are missing, replaced with a question mark and a message that says 'unidentified image'. Now the card doesn't hold anything, I get a message that says 'memory card error'. I'm going to spend a...

Cons: Be aware that not all SD card readers understand the HC cards (and you need to be sure your camera etc. is compatible as well). Microsoft support is spotty, driver updates are coming - someday. If you want something faster than connecting your camera to the PC, get a reader that specifically supports the HC format.

I'm sure this memory card is great: But note, it didn't work with my Cannon PowerShot SD450 - this maybe due to the card, but I think that older cameras don't support the "HC" card technology. The packaging and fine details don't really tell you how to determine this though...

3.0 out of 5 stars Warning.....can't be read by card readers., August 29, 2007

This review is from: Kingston 4 GB SDHC Class 2 Flash Memory Card SD2/4GB (Personal Computers)
This is a fine card...as far as price and capacity. I bought the 4 gb for a trip to Europe. I took about 200 pictures on it at highest quality of 7.1 megapixels with my Canon SD1000, and still had room to spare. It was great to have so much space and not worry about running out. However, when I got home and tried to use in my HP L7680 printer's media card slots, I got an error message. I tried the card in a Canon MP830 as well, and it would not read there either. So, I had to hook the camera to my PC (the old-fashioned way) and transfer the photos in order to print them. Very annoying, and if I had it to do over, I'd have spent more money to get a card that modern printers can read.

Seems to do the trick for storing photos from my DSLR. Fast enough that it can keep up with continuous shooting on my D40x in all but RAW mode. Large enough to hold plenty of images without changing cards.

1.0 out of 5 stars The card just doesn't work, June 10, 2007
This review is from: Kingston 4 GB SDHC Class 2 Flash Memory Card SD2/4GB (Personal Computers)
I bought this card together with Canon G7 digital camera. This flash card was working for two days, and then it was broken suddenly. The camera displays error message, doesn't allow making shots, and even doesn't allow formatting the card; but the camera works perfectly with another card. I tried to insert this broken card in my PC, but the PC cannot recognize the card as well.
Since I live outside the U.S., it doesn't make a sense to return this card back to Amazon because of transportation cost. So I just lost my money.

1.0 out of 5 stars bad product, June 8, 2007
This review is from: Kingston 4 GB SDHC Class 2 Flash Memory Card SD2/4GB (Personal Computers)
Unfortunately one star is the lowest rating. It should be more like minus five stars. Shortly after getting the memory my camera reported that the memory was unusable. It could not be reformatted in the camera or on my PC. I got a couple pictures use (and lost those) before it went belly up. I will not buy this product again and will have serious reservations about Kingston.

seems to be working exactly as it should be, I am happy with it, the price was right, and would not hesitate to purchase another if I ever fill up all this memory.
