Do not buy this for any reason, very bad product.
Patricio Vela
Was skeptical about the design, since the portion that has the contacts are open instead of enclosed like traditional USB connectors.
Eggroll
Works as it should and has loop to easily attached to key chain.

I own quite a few USB jump drives, and though they are all small, they don't always seem to be there when I need them. Either because I forgot to bring them with me or I intentionally did not bring them with me because I did not expect to need it.

With this drive I can be assured I will always have it with me. Unlike other jump drives, this one is VERY small and makes perfect sense to put on your key ring. The other jump drives are small, but big enough to seem too clunky to be on a key ring. I hate carrying too much stuff with me. So I try and keep my key chain as clutter free as possible. This drive is perfect in that respect.

The drive comes formatted in FAT32 which I prefer anyway since I use both Mac and PC frequently and I don't plan on storing files larger than 4GB. So it works out better for me to use FAT32.

Transfer speeds seem to be faster compared to my other jump drives.

This is the first drive I have owned without the circuit board protection, but it plugs in the same as any other USB jump drive. However, it doesn't seem very easy to open unless you have some length to you finger nails, which I don't. lol. Not a deal breaker though.

I will mention this... I have in the past had other jump drives that I placed on my key ring and they never seem to be constructed well enough and wind up breaking. Luckily, I noticed when the drives had fallen off and did not lose them, but I'm constantly having to worry when that is going to happen when it comes to placing a jump drive on my key ring. That is not something I would like to have to think about.

I thought that the picture of the loop being built into the frame seemed very study compared to other drives.

Works on the Xbox 360! Didn't see any reviews about using it on Xbox 360 so I took a chance and happy I did.

when the lid flips out you can't put anything above or below it. it takes up 3 usb ports in that sens. it looks really skinny and it is but since when it folds out the lid cannot be totally flat the it is actually taller then a normal flash drive. i am going to use it until it breaks but i won't buy another one for that reason. i wouldn't recommend it because of this fact. and that is also why it doesn't get anymore then 3 stars. besides the pictures deceiving you about it's size it works fine as a flash drive and is pretty stylish.

Drive is not reliable. Got error messages so re-formatted it. Two months later, got another error message so re-formatted it again. Each time losing a day's worth of data and a couple of hours of my time. After the third crash, dumped the drive.

This flashdrive is tempermental and does NOT last long. I bought mine a little over a month ago, and it's now dying. I can't access the files and I'm trying to access them for all of a moment to transfer the files but nope, without warning it died. don't bother with this item.

It is extremely small - just big enough to have a USB connector with a small hinged contact cover. The speed for my data was slightly less than 10 MBytes/second. Many flash drives have 4-6 times the volume of this one. THe small size is the most attractive feature for me.

This drive is capable and will serve me for a long while I suspect. Kingston makes good flash drives. I got a good price. That gets a drive up to four stars in my book.

My qualm with this drive is its form factor. I find it awkward to have to use a fingernail on the end of the drive to pop open the cover to the drive. Once I do that, I don't really like that the cover nearly doubles the length of the drive. I bought this drive because I felt I needed more high capacity storage and don't regret it, but I'd prefer a more conventional design. I'd counsel future buyers to consider whether the design will be appealing to them and fit their needs. If not, Kingston makes drives in other form factors that may be a better choice.
